Niamh Tam commissioned me to photograph her exhibition ‘I Killed the Angel in the House’. It was opening night and she wanted the atmosphere captured rather than documentation of individual art pieces. As the work itself was intended to be presented together, this worked perfectly with my photography. I experimented with long exposure on some photographs so as not to focus too heavily on the guests but rather foreground the art.
